STOKER IMAGES (Photos) – South Korean director Park Chan-wook made his Hollywood debut with Stoker and opened to great reviews at this year’s Sundance Film Festival. Many have compared it to a style Alfred Hitchcock would use in his films, with the symbolism and consistent mysteriousness. Stoker centers on a girl who becomes drawn to her uncle when he moves in with her and her mother. The psychological thriller has hints of incest and forbidden lust, which raises more questions about the relationships between these characters. Stoker stars Mia Wasikowska, Nicole Kidman, Matthew Goode, Dermot Mulroney, Lucas Till, Jacki Weaver, and Alden Ehrenreich.
PLOT: After India’s father dies, her Uncle Charlie, who she never knew existed, comes to live with her and her unstable mother. She comes to suspect this mysterious, charming man has ulterior motives and becomes increasingly infatuated with him.
